TLC’s 1000-Lb. Sisters EXCLUSIVE: Tammy’s Fed Up With Dr. Stapleton
Tammy Slaton is still in the honeymoon phase.
The 1000-Lb. Sisters star married husband Caleb Willingham in November 2022 and, just over two months later, Tammy is still basking in the glow of the big day.
“It’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me,” Tammy exclusively told E! News. “God truly blessed me.”
Tammy met Caleb at a rehab facility where she currently resides, which also served as the setting for the couple’s nuptials. (She underwent successful gastric bypass surgery and has remained in the facility since, as doctors continue to monitor her progress. Caleb was at the facility dealing with obesity-related health issues.)
“It was the best day of our lives,” Tammy said of the wedding, which will play out for TLC’s cameras later this season. “There was so much love in the room. I’m thankful that so many family members and our family from the rehab were able to come.”
Tammy knew Caleb was the one because of the way he managed to sweep her off her feet—quite literally.

Slaton, who started off the show at 500-lbs and is working hard to lose weight and improve her health, shocked viewers when she announced earlier this year that she had married Joseph, a man she met via an online dating app.
Now, Slaton is nonetheless happily lifting the veil and providing an in-depth look into her marriage, and it’s a surprisingly good one. In a series of new Instagram posts, the 34-year-old has shared a few sneak peeks into her home life, featuring images and video of the two walking hand-in-hand.
In the posts, Slaton and her husband of two months appear to be blissfully in love as they pose for cute photos and stroll around a nearby lake.
“We were married February 15th. This guy right here has made me the happiest woman ever — truly. I love ya,” Slaton captioned a photo of the two in their wedding attire, which she posted to Instagram earlier this month.
The 1000-Lb. Sister’s star has been detailing her marriage journey to her followers. This included sharing a glimpse of her getting her marriage license, which she described as “a day to remember.”
Tammy Slaton’s fans continue to be surprised by her welcoming content, leading many of them to express their joy for the celebrity.
One user wrote, “Y’all look awesome! I am so happy for you.”
However, some have also expressed concern for Slaton’s health and wellbeing, as the extra weight puts her at a higher risk for medical complications from the coronavirus.
In the meantime, Slaton is continuing to be open with her fans and has promised to keep sharing more interesting insights into her marriage.
