A Cinderella Story’s Hilary Duff Is Proud of Jennifer Coolidge – E! Online

You know, the one about how Jennifer Coolidge is absolutely killing it? Hilary Duff is so proud of her A Cinderella Story co-star.
“I can’t even begin to tell you how much I’ve just been, like, obsessed with this past year for Jennifer Coolidge,” the Lizzie McGuire alum said on the Jan. 26 episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. “Like, it’s been really cool to see.”
The two starred in the 2004 film—a high school rom-com version of the classic fairy tale in which Duff played the main character Sam and Coolidge portrayed her stepmother Fiona—along with Chad Michael Murray and Regina King.
And Duff still cherishes memories from their time on the set. As she recalled, “My favorite moment was her rubbing salmon on her face while filming A Cinderella Story and talking about the Omegas.” Obviously!

The heartwarming post, which featured Images from the beloved fairytale movie and a few praiseworthy words, was shared on Duff’s Instagram page shortly after Coolidge, who played the ditzy and eccentric yet lovable and kindhearted Paulette in A Cinderella Story, was nominated for an Emmy Award for her appearance on the popular sitcom, The Kominsky Method.
“Jennifer Coolidge!!! Congrats,, she was so amazing in Cinderella Story and she is so deserving of everything! 💜 #jennifercoolidge,” wrote Duff as the caption of her post.
Indeed, Coolidge earned her 2019 Emmy nomination for her portrayal of Roz Keith, a bubbly and outrageous cosmetic challenge judge on the hit Netflix comedy. Understandably, Coolidge was overjoyed when she heard the news that finally saw her receive her due acknowledgment and accolade after all the hard work she put into her craft throughout the years, especially pertaining to her comedic roles.
Apart from A Cinderella Story and The Kominsky Method, Coolidge is also best known for her appearances in such other comedies such as Legally Blonde, American Pie, and its subsequent sequels, Joey, and 2 Broke Girls, to name a few.
Duff’s post, which was shared in response of Coolidge’s Emmy nomination and as an appreciative nod to her undeniably unique actress, clearly shows how proud this young Hollywood actress is of her former co-star. As A Cinderella Story goes down in history as one of the most-loved Disney romances, having Duff’s endorsement will certainly help Coolidge’s journey towards her well-deserved Emmy Award.
