Recent studies have revealed groundbreaking progress for prevention and treatment of Alzheimer’s. Clinical trials work on the development of vaccines that may slow down the progression of Alzheimer’s disease, as well as drugs to improve the symptoms related to it.

In spite of these developments, the challenge to find an effective treatment or a cure to this debilitating disease remains. So, while the news on Alzheimer’s is typically grim, the progress being made in understanding and treating this disease brings hope and courage to those affected, as well as their loved ones.
