Ashton Kutcher Addresses Danny Masterson Rape Allegations






Source link American actor, Ashton Kutcher, addressed the recent string of sexual assault accusations made against his former That 70s Show co-star, Danny Masterson.
Speaking out on his June 24th “Sounds Good With Branden Harvey” podcast, Kutcher shared his initial reactions to the recent on-going rape allegations against Masterson.
Kutcher who portrayed the lovable, gullible Michael Kelso in the popular, two-season sitcom, That 70s Show alongside Masterson, expressed his sorrow and regret as he addressed the accusations.
“To be honest,” he said, “I’m incredibly, incredibly devastated…I’m devastated by it.”
Kutcher discussed the confusion he experienced when he first heard of the sexual assault allegations against Masterson. “I didn’t worse because I don’t know what the truth is,” he shared.
The actor has followed the constant news updates about the accusations, though he admitted he is still uncertain about what ultimately happened between Masterson and the four victims.
He voiced his displeasure with the current legal system and its ability to handle such cases.“I have a trepidation of feeling like I’m making a statement either way when I don’t know,” he continued.
At present, Masterson continues to deny the multiple allegations, though his professional and private life has been esredibly disrupted due to ongoing investigations.
