Inside Anna Delvey’s Arresting 32nd Birthday Party

It’s Anna Delvey‘s birthday and she can celebrate how ever she wants to.
The socialite, whose legal troubles and subsequent arrest were depicted on Netflix’s Inventing Anna, recently rang in 32 with a dinner party at her NYC home. (She is, after all, under house arrest.)
So, what did the unconventional bash entail? Tons of catching up with friends.
“I was grateful to have such incredible support from my NYC friends to be able to celebrate at my apartment in a way that I haven’t been able to for several years,” Delvey (a.k.a. Anna Sorokin) exclusively told E! News. “I’m so grateful to be in NYC where we could all come together for a really fun night.”
For the occasion, Delvey was styled by Altorrin, with her hair and makeup done by Avery Golson at See Management.
Her invite-only event, presented by Profanity Paraffins, also included a champagne toast provided by UNRATED Wines and a seasonal tasting menu created by Chef Ryan Hackney of Citizens & Culture—a definite departure from Delvey’s previous birthday behind bars.
Source link Anna Delvey, the infamous con artist behind a multi-million dollar fraudulent hotel scam in New York City, celebrated her 32nd birthday recently with a lavish birthday party. Despite having been arrested and charged with several counts of fraud and larceny a few months ago, Delvey did not let this put a damper on her birthday celebration.
The event was held at the exclusive Socialista nightclub in midtown Manhattan. The glittering evening was hosted by Chelsea Leyland and guests were treated to twists on classic cocktails, a DJ performance and special cakes. Some of the guests included socialite and fashion designer Jasmine Yin, professional snowboarder Zoi Sadowski-Synnott and attorney Ardielynn Boykins.
Delvey looked glamorous in an animal print ensemble as she partied away with her friends. Reportedly, the con artist grew more and more excited throughout the night and spend the evening on the dance floor with her closest friends.
The night was filled with drama as police officers showed up unexpectedly. Officers entered the club and escorted Delvey away, reminding the guests of her legal issues and souring the mood of the evening. Delvey was taken into the custody of the NYPD and faces anywhere from 15 years to life in prison, depending on the court’s sentence.
Although the night ended in a somber atmosphere, up until the police showed up, Delvey’s 32nd birthday seemed to be full of revelry and fun. All things considered, it appears that some of her last moments of freedom were spent with her closest friends.
