Source link Jimmy Kimmel is no stranger to the late-night talk show circuit, having spent the last 18 years helming ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”. It goes without saying that Kimmel has seen it all during his time in the hosting seat, but one moment sticks out more than the rest.

The seasoned host recently sat down with E! Online to discuss his impressive longevity in the late-night game. During the chat, he shared his favorite memory from his time in the hosting chair.

“One of my favorite late-night hosting memories was when I got to share the stage with my heroes, John Lasseter, the head of Pixar, and Steve Jobs, the former CEO of Apple,” Kimmel remembered fondly.

He went on to recount how, back in April 2010, the two icons were guests on his show, discussing the upcoming release of computer-animated feature, Toy Story 3.

Kimmel also shared a touching moment that occurred during the filming.

“[Jobs] gave me an iPhone and he said, ‘Hey, you’re the first late-night talk show host to carry one of these.’ And I’ve had it ever since,” he recalled of the gift.

The combination of spending time with the innovators and receiving such an intimate present was an experience Kimmel will never forget. “It was the best day of my life,” he concluded.

It’s certainly heart-warming to know that Kimmel has been able to soak in such fond memories throughout his time in late-night show hosting. Of course, with nearly two decades of memorable moments, there’s no telling what else Kimmel may share in the future.
