Kristin Cavallari Apologizes to Stephen Colletti for Cheating on Him

Things get real in the real OC when you come clean.
More than 16 years after Laguna Beach aired its final episode on MTV, some of the show’s biggest stars continue to have tough conversations about what really went down in high school.
During the Jan. 24 episode of the Back to the Beach podcast, Kristin Cavallari apologized to Stephen Colletti for being unfaithful during their relationship.
“I’m appalled of the stuff that I did, honestly,” Kristin shared with her co-host, according to Entertainment Tonight. “It actually is painful for me to hear. It’s painful for me to watch and I really do apologize. You were always such a really good guy. You still are. But the fact that I took advantage of that is heartbreaking. So I am sorry.”
While Kristin and Stephen have remained friends since their split in the mid-aughts—and have co-hosted the Dear Media podcast together since July 2022—their relationship on the small screen wasn’t always the smoothest.
Source link Kristin Cavallari recently took to Instagram to publicly apologize to her former love interest, reality star Stephen Colletti, from the hit MTV series Laguna Beach.
The 33 year-old entrepreneur and reality star, cavallari, posted a video of the two of them together, along with a heartfelt apology. She spoke about how she was wrong for cheating on him when the two were between the ages of 18 and 21.
“We were so young and I made mistakes, and it’s something I’ve had to live with for over 10 years now,” she said in the video.
Cavallari went on to express her deep respect for Colletti and her gratitude that he is part of her story. She also mentioned how he’s since become like a brother to her, having been in each other’s weddings, and having been a part of each other’s lives during major milestones over the past 10 years.
The post was met with positive reactions, with many calling Cavallari’s apology “beautiful.” In a world where it’s often difficult to come forward and apologize for wrongdoing, it’s refreshing to see Cavallari take the high road, creating a space for vulnerability and healing between her and Colletti.
It’s unclear whether Colletti has responded to Cavallari’s apology, but it’s certain that Cavallari’s commentary is a beautiful reminder of redemption and forgiveness.
