Through her grieving process, Priscilla Presley is still able to feel the love.
Just days after Lisa Marie Presley was laid to rest during a public funeral at Graceland, her mom shared a message of gratitude to fans who continue offering condolences to the family.
“To YOU, I’m truly overwhelmed with your words, your prayers, your love and your support,” Priscilla wrote on Twitter Jan. 26. “Thank you from the bottom of my heart in trying to help me get through this loss. Every parent who has lost a daughter or son knows what a dark painstaking journey it is.”
In an earlier message to fans, Priscilla also expressed how positive messages can make an impact.
“Thank you for all your condolences, you have touched me with your words,” she wrote on Twitter Jan. 23. “It has been a very difficult time, but just knowing your love is out there makes a difference.”

On July 12 of this year, the son of Lisa Marie Presley, actress and daughter of the late King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley, died at the age of 27 in Calabasas, California. Elvis’ only grandchild would have celebrated his 28th birthday in October.
In Priscilla Presley’s tribute to her beloved grandchild, the actress painted a sorrowful portrait of her emotional journey since the tragedy. “It’s been weeks and I still can’t get out of this terrible feeling of sadness and loss,” she said. She described the Ben’s death as “darker” than anything she had ever experienced, and said that it had brought an awareness of how precious life is.
“Each day I wake, I pray it will get better,” she wrote, adding the hash tag #devastated. The post has been flooded with love and support from fans and those that knew and admired Ben Keough.
The death of a loved one is always heartbreaking, particularly when it’s someone as young and talented as Ben Keough, who also shared his famous grandfather’s good looks. We can only imagine the pain and suffering his family have gone through since his tragic death.
